How mentoring works

The aim of mentoring is to help you create the freelance life that you want by creating the business that you need.

I guide and support you by giving you the skills, tools and know-how to make it happen. We work on solving your immediate challenges while shaping your business to give you what you want in the long term.

We meet once a month for 90 minutes, there are weekly check ins and tasks for you to complete and you can text or voice note me during the week for extra support in the moment.

What will you accomplish?

What my clients love the most is how practical the programme is. 

I have a freelance library full of lessons and step-by-step guides to help you with whatever challenge you’re facing. The programme has modules on mindset and resilience, marketing, sales, processes and time management to name a few, so wherever you’re at and whatever you need in the moment I have something to support you.

You’ll work through things at your own pace, learning the skills and techniques so you have them for life. Each part of the programme is designed so you can easily implement what you learn in your business to see rapid and sustainable change.

Create calm

To get clarity and make progress in life you need two precious things, time and headspace. You’ll first create calm in your business by dealing with any urgent needs that are taking up your attention. You’ll create the space and clarity of mind your need to plan for the future and act with confidence.

Plan the future

You’ll describe in detail what you want your freelance life to look like. Where you’ll live, who you’ll work for, the projects you’ll create. Destination determines direction and strategy, so we need to know where you’re going.

MVP

You’ll create your minimum viable product – the smallest possible thing you’ll need to start moving towards your goal. You’ll define your offer, your audience, your pricing and the value you deliver as well as the tools and processes you need to be able to connect with people who need what you have.

Strategy

You’ll overcome the challenge of connecting with potential customers by designing a strategy unique to you. You’ll find ways to connect with potential clients that suit your vibe and how you work. The goal here is to promote yourself and sell in ways that make you feel happy!

Connecting

Starting with the warmest first, you’ll connect with old clients, new clients, collaborators and supporters who can help grow your business. You’ll create messaging that tells who you are and the value you offer so people know exactly how you help.

Time saving

Using automation, delegation and just saying no to things that don’t serve you, you’ll claim back time in your days that you can spend living life or planning the next big steps in your biz.

Diversification

You’ll decide what strategies you want to pursue next: value-priced projects, hiring your team, creating products from your services or even mentoring. The goal is to create stability in your business to support the life you want.
