Branding for a modern call answering service
Onwards was born out of a problem: in the words of Director Billy Smith, all phone answering services are shit.
They are unreliable, don’t provide the information the client needs and waste client time with unqualified calls. Onwards is the answer to those problems and needed an image to show it! I was asked to create that brand image.
Research into competitors showed a boring industry of same-same. Photos of middle aged women answering phones – as if folk don’t know what a call answering service is. To make Onwards the break from the monotony it wanted to be, I created a bold image and straightforward marketing copy that focused on the value of what Onwards offer.
