When Branding Designer Niall Green started mentoring with me he was trapped in a cycle of low grade work, doing small projects for not enough money with no time or headspace to change his situation.

After three months we’d reshaped his business, giving him back time and headspace that he used to go after the big clients he wanted. After six months he was landing bigger projects at a higher rate than he’d dared to charge before. I’ll let him tell you the rest..

Before I started working with Orwell I felt like I was butting into a world that didn't want me. I was just getting by, doing odds and ends of work and I didn't know what I needed to know to make my situation better.

Through Orwell's mentoring I've massively gained in confidence in my work, in how I deal with clients and how I run my business. He helped me develop my voice, my brand style and produce designs that felt more me.

Now I'm working consistently on client projects, I've raised my prices and I have the confidence to choose projects that benefit me, my business and my career.

Orwell McGubbins is a designer and Art Director based in Berlin. 

He has spent his career working with NGOs, charities, schools and social businesses, supporting people to develop themselves and make the most of life. 

Today he continues this work by helping creative freelancers gain the skills and confidence they need to be great at what they do.

He enables people to create the life they want by creating the business they need.
