What to do when they say “There’s more work coming”

If you're viewing this on dark mode and the page is full of unformatted text, sorry it looks poop.. I added the post text to make the page show up on searches.

This text is white for everyone else, they don't even know it's here! There's probs a better way to do it than this but y'know, I can't be an expert at everything..

Anyway, fanx for putting up with it.. luv u xx

You’re setting a benchmark You’re telling them you’ll work for cheap and it’s gona be mega hard to get that price up to your regular rate So what can you do instead? Oh yeah, we got ideas.. 1. Say no You don't work for cheap and their promises don't pay your bills Your rate is your rate. If someone can’t pay it, they’re not the right people for you 2. Pass to a friend If you know someone perfect for the job and who works at that rate, pass it on! They’ll thank you and the client will love that you helped them out 3. Hire a freelancer Take the work, hire a freelancer who can do it at that rate and you earn a fee for managing the project You’re getting paid to see if this promise of future work is real, and you’re giving work to a friend!
